Moonlight Masonry

​We’re two brothers, Forrest and Shane Angelillo, and masonry isn’t just what we do — it’s what we love. Forrest has been building with natural stone for over 12 years, and somewhere along the way it became more than a trade. It became a creative outlet, a craft, a passion.
Forrest grew up in northern Vermont, where dry stack stone walls are a way of life. Building without mortar in a climate that demands it teaches you to think like an engineer as much as a craftsman — every stone placed with the ground’s movement in mind. That foundation shapes everything we build today.
Working with these materials for so long, you start to notice something. Real stone just feels different. It’s grounding in a way that synthetic materials aren’t. There’s something ancient and honest about it — and we love being able to bring that into people’s homes and outdoor spaces.
Masonry is demanding work — heavy lifts, strong hands, long days. But when the work is done, what you’re left with is something genuinely beautiful. That blend of raw physical labor and real artistry is what keeps us coming back.
